PAVANE

French - meaning "To Strut"

The most refined, elegant and sensitive horse on the farm she consistently passes on her vitality and sweetness to her foals. Happier when she is in motion the best way to describe this mare is to say that she is the one with Va-Va-Voom! Incredibly forward, quick athletic and agile this mare is the complete package of looks ability and temperament.

All her babies have so far been extremely healthy, vigorous, incredibly correct with a beautiful head and the good temperament to go with it.

Vendella

We acquired Vendella because of her pedigree, her temperament and the qualities she passes on to her foals.

Out of renown lines of Dutch Warmblood and Gelderlander lines well known for their abilities and versatility as well as their quiet and trainable temperament Vendella is an excellent representative of her breed.

The quiet strength of this mare is almost magical. She is like a St-Bernard: calm, attentive, loyal and the whole package backed by incredible physical strength.

Her wonderful qualities are passed on to her foals. To have an idea of the quality she produces take a minute to see Maxamillion at www.goldenventurefarm.com

We think her foals have the ideal combination of excellent physical characteristics combined with a temperament that allows you to train them yourself.

Vendella foaled late in 2007 and will be bred in the spring of 2008.

Shotsey

This cute little Saddlebred mare that was sadly crippled as a baby has come to us from Cascade Colors Farm in Oregon to join our broodmare band.

Other then her crippled leg, Shotsey has very good conformation and despite this has  lovely gaits: light floating and very rhythmical. She also shines in the temperament department. She is trusting, affectionate, calm and very people oriented and she is a pure joy to handle and care for.

Shotsey delivered a black tobiano filly by Carmiro in late January:

Aurora

This rare and precious little filly is most likely the first champagne Saddlebred on Canadian soil.

We’ve wanted for many years to bring in this rare color to our breeding program but we were also dedicated to finding the right match. Time will tell if we were right in selecting her but for now we are thrilled with her conformation, her movement and her adorable laid back personality. She will fit right in with the rest of our well mannered and good natured herd.

Aurora will

be bred in 2008.
