"A powerfully moving mare."

Pavane is a beautiful active mare with an exceptionally pretty head and neck. Her gait of choice is the canter and with her uphill built and powerful hindquarters she has quite an acceleration on her!
Very showy and kind she is a fun mare to have around.

Offspring

2006-Principe- Black Colt (by an Andalusian stallion)- Sold to M. Reading of Whitehorse, Yukon
Principe is turning out to be exaclty what we had hoped for in this cross and more! The best colt we've bred so far, this boy is absolutely correct, smart as a whip, extremely trainable and people oriented. He has the proud bearing of his father and the free flowing movement of his dam. Just a gem of a colt!

We are so impressed with this colt that Pavane will be re-bred to Donadio for a 2007 sibling to Principe. This foal is already sold (in Utero) to T. Grunerud of Calgary, Alberta

“So I just got back from the barn after seeing Primo! He's so beautiful, and very-very friendly. It's obvious as to how much care and time you put into him, he's a wonderful little boy. Everyone has already fallen in love with him, including neighbors up the road.”-A. Flack

"A harmonious, compact mare."

Beautifully built and harmoniously put together Chanceuse is sooo elegant. She's got tons of mane and tail and the best feet we've ever seen on any horse. Chanceuse is my favorite riding mare, incredibly smooth to ride and so responsive that I can ride her anywhere with just a piece of twine. She is quiet enough for a beginner and game enough for me!  Definitely the boss mare of the herd she's an excellent (if a bit protective!) mother.

Offspring

2006-Chance In A Million ( x Maxamillion - DutchWB x ASB)

"Chance in a Million" is a sweet, beautifully proportioned filly born May 27th. Compact and well muscled this filly is sure to excel in many disciplines. Calm and observant like her mother this filly should be a breeze to train.

SAGESSE

Bay Mare Registered as "Samantha II"

1995 Registered Canadian Warmblood

Hanoverian X Anglo Trakehner

Samantha is a big bodies mare,16hh and very correct and healthy. She has a good swinging walk with good overtrack, a nice trot with suspension and a good round canter. She's friendly and easy to care for. An injury early in life fractured her sesamoid bone and limited her to being a broodmare although she is trained to ride and is quite capable for easy rides.

2005-Bay colt by Shellcrest Cream of the Crop (Welsh)

CARMIRO

2003 Black Stallion

Registered Canadian Warmblood

Polish Warmblood x Dutch Warmblood

(Click on any photo to enlarge)

Known in Europe for their excellent temperament and athleticism, Polish Warmblood (also called Polish Trakehner or Wielkopolsky) are not very well known in North America due in large part to Poland's long years behind the iron curtain. They are very popular both in their native Poland and Russia  where they are bred as sporthhorses. The French two in hand driving champion drives two bay Wielkopolsky. Carmiro was bred in Quebec (www.melanieboucherfarm.com) from imported stock. He combines the wielkpolsky line with some of the finest Dutch Warmblood lines of Etretat and RamiroZ . Carmiro's sire competed in show jumping up and down the east coast and in Canada while his mother  was injured at a very young age and was never shown. His grand mother and grand father however competed in Grand Prix. Most of his close family competed at one level or another in the hunter and jumper ring. Carmiro turned  two in August and so is still very much in an awkward stage but his conformation is correct and he shows nice powerful movement and a nice balanced canter. Most important of all for us is his extremely laid back people friendly personality and nearly unspookable temperament. Overall a very well mannered young stallion. We are very excited to have Carmiro as our future herd sire and are looking forward to see him mature.

We think that he will complement our Saddlebred mares in many way:
1) His exceptionally quiet temperament will balance out their fiery
disposition
2) His good bone and muscle mass will add substance
3) His excellent canter is balanced and rhythmical and will complement their
excellent forward trot.
4) Both his sire and dam  were 16.3hh indicating that he could add height to
his offspring.
